Can inmates get books? If so how do you get them to them and can they keep them when they get out? Limit on how many?

Yes, they can but you have to send them directly from a reputable retailer (such as Barnes and Noble or Borders). You can send them from Amazon, but make sure they are brand new and shipping from Amazon (they may be refused if it is something shipping from a different store, which is common on Amazon).

I am not positive about this, but I think my friend told me you could have 3 at a time. Technically you aren't supposed to take them with you when you leave but I have heard about a lot of inmates doing that so I don't think they're too strict about it.

Is the physical address for visiting the same as the address you send letters too? I will be visiting for the first time next month, and not sure of location of the jail?

8. If an inmate is re-housed for classification reasons due to behavior, safety or security reasons, visiting will be cancelled for that particular week.
